During the 2008-2009 academic year, I worked as a visiting academic at the University of Warwick, Center for Applied Linguistics where I was mainly involved in:
- Planning the development of a Turkish Spoken Corpus parallel to British Corpora (i.e. BASE -British Academic Spoken English Corpus)
- Pragmatics research methodology: (Im)politeness evaluation narratives and cultural (im)politeness key lexemes as means of politeness2 theory building
