A number of changes occurred since the last update of my web page at

Here, the  changes will be outlined, and a number of typing errors corrected.

1.   In February 2012, I stopped delivering lectures at METU, and on 13th June 2013 I evacuated my office. So my office telephone number (90 312 2102409) and fax number (90 312 210 5401) are no longer valid. The best way to contact me is through my e-mail address: mirata@metu.edu.tr

2.  In the list of publications in English, publication no. 20, “Protection Ffrom” should read “Protection from”.

3.   In the list of Publications in Turkish, the present link to publication no. 2 is
