I work as an Associate Professor of Elementary and Early Childhood Education in the College of Education at the Middle East Technical University (METU) where I teach courses on Movement Education, Play Pedagogy, Outdoor Education, Creativity and Visual Arts at the undergraduate level and Embodied Learning at the graduate level.

My research interests include Play Pedagogy & Cross-cultural Play, Embodied Learning, Active Designs for Indoors & Outdoors, and Creativity in the Early Years.
