I am a faculty member at Middle East Technical University (METU), in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I got my B.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and in Mathematics from METU in 2006. I got my Ph.D. from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland in 2013. Before joining METU in 2015, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at INRIA, Rennes, France.

My research lies in the intersection of signal processing and machine learning, and focuses on problems such as representation learning for data in graph domains, multiple modalities and multiple domains.
