Special Session at the 27th International Conference on Applications of Computer Algebra (ACA’2022), August 15 – 19, 2022
Algorithms are not only essential in providing data security and privacy as cryptographic methods but also algorithms are designed for analysing the weakness of existing cryptosystems. On one hand, quantum computers are seen to be a threat to the existing cryptographic algorithms so that new ones were recently proposed and newer ones are on the way. On the other hand, blockchain is becoming a widely accepted solution for some holy grail problems in data security and privacy, e.g. decentralized currency. Designing new supporting algorithms for enhancing the blockchain solutions is essential nowadays.
This session is devoted to all kinds of algorithmic aspects of cryptography and blockchain.
If you are interested in presenting a talk, please email an abstract to one of the organizers. Each presentation including Q&A is 30 minutes. Tentative abstract submission deadline is June 14, 2022; early submissions are appreciated. More than one abstract may be submitted.
For submitting an abstract of a talk, please use the available LaTeX template.
ACA 2022 post-proceedings are planned to be published in the journal of Applicable Algebra in Engineering, Communication and Computing. See ACA 2022 web page for further information.
