I work as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education in the School of Education at the Middle East Technical University (METU). I teach courses on Methods of Teaching Mathematics, Instructional Techniques and Principles at the undergraduate level and Theoretical Perspectives in Mathematics Education and Independent Study at the graduate level.

My research interests include mathematics teacher education (in-service & pre-service), reasoning and proof, and early algebra.
