While the choice of a thesis topic is a personal and significant decision for each student, the program offers several research areas in which it is particularly well-equipped to provide expert supervision. Below is a list of general topics available for either MSc or PhD theses, organized according to the primary research themes within my expertise. <strong>Prospective students are expected to have a background in numerical analysis, optimization, finite element method, functional analysis, and programming (in MATLAB, Python, etc.).<\/strong> If any of the following topics are of interest to you, please feel free to contact me at yucelh[at]metu.edu.tr.
