She conducts participatory research within national and international projects, focusing on reducing drought risk, promoting alternative water resources, and enhancing the resilience of urban water systems to climate change. Her work aims to integrate sustainable and equitable water management approaches, grounded in stakeholder participation, into policy and practice. In this context, she addresses technical water management solutions alongside governance, planning, and public policy dimensions, bridging scientific knowledge and decision-making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Akg\u00fcn \u0130lhan, iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fine uyumlu su y\u00f6netimi alan\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan bir akademisyen ve ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131d\u0131r. \u0130lhan, ulusal ve uluslararas\u0131 projelerde kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131 y\u00f6ntemlere dayal\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar y\u00fcr\u00fcterek kurakl\u0131k riskinin azalt\u0131lmas\u0131, alternatif su kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n yayg\u0131nla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ve kentsel su sistemlerinin iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fine kar\u015f\u0131 dayan\u0131kl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n art\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na odaklanmaktad\u0131r. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131, payda\u015f kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 esas alan s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir ve adil su y\u00f6netimi yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131 politika ve uygulamayla bulu\u015fturmay\u0131 ama\u00e7lamaktad\u0131r. DR. \u0130REM DALO\u011eLU \u00c7ET\u0130NKAYA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. \u0130rem Dalo\u011flu \u00c7etinkaya, an Assistant Professor working in the fields of water management, socio-hydrology, and the dynamic modeling of socio-ecological systems. She has particular expertise in groundwater management, water governance, participatory modeling, and the integration of systems thinking approaches into decision-making processes. She also has experience in spatial data analysis and scenario-based water allocation models. Within the scope of the project, she is responsible for the spatial and system-based analysis of land use\u2013water demand relationships, the development of scenario frameworks, and the evaluation of model outputs in the context of planning and governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. \u00d6\u011fr. \u00dcyesi \u0130rem Dalo\u011flu \u00c7etinkaya, su y\u00f6netimi, sosyo-hidroloji ve sosyo-ekolojik sistemlerin modellemesi alanlar\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaktad\u0131r. \u00d6zellikle yeralt\u0131 suyu y\u00f6netimi, su y\u00f6neti\u015fimi, kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131 modelleme ve sistem d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131n karar s\u00fcre\u00e7lerine entegrasyonu konular\u0131nda uzmanl\u0131\u011fa sahiptir. Mek\u00e2nsal veri analizi ve senaryo temelli su tahsis modelleri \u00fczerine deneyimi bulunmaktad\u0131r. ZEYNEP AKDO\u011eAN<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Zeynep Akdo\u011fan works on the modeling of hydrological and hydraulic processes, as well as pollutant transport. Her research focuses on representing flow, transport, and water quality processes at the river and watershed scales using process-based models, and on assessing model uncertainties. In her studies, she examines system behavior under different hydrological scenarios to generate inputs for decision-support frameworks. Within the scope of the project, she will be responsible for the land use\u2013based demand model, SWMM-based rainwater harvesting calculations, and the integration of RCP scenarios.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Zeynep Akdo\u011fan, hidrolojik ve hidrolik s\u00fcre\u00e7lerin modellenmesi ile kirletici ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131m\u0131 \u00fczerine \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131; akarsu ve havza \u00f6l\u00e7e\u011finde ak\u0131\u015f, ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131m ve su kalitesi s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin s\u00fcre\u00e7-temelli modellerle temsil edilmesine ve model belirsizliklerinin de\u011ferlendirilmesine odaklan\u0131r. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda farkl\u0131 hidrolojik senaryolar alt\u0131nda sistem davran\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 inceleyerek karar destek \u00e7er\u00e7evelerine girdi \u00fcretmektedir. She is academically focused on urban design, nature-based solutions, and sustainable urbanization. Within the scope of the project, she is responsible for conducting an urban fabric analysis in Kad\u0131k\u00f6y, Istanbul, and developing a typomorphological classification to evaluate the rainwater harvesting potential of different urban fabrics.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ODT\u00dc \u015eehir ve B\u00f6lge Planlama B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc\u2019nden 2025 y\u0131l\u0131nda mezun olan Selen O\u011fuz, ODT\u00dc Kentsel Tasar\u0131m Y\u00fcksek Lisans Program\u0131\u2019nda e\u011fitimine devam etmektedir. Kentsel tasar\u0131m, do\u011fa temelli \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmler ve s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir kentle\u015fme konular\u0131nda akademik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmektedir.
