What is Digital Twin Technology?

Digital Twin technology is the concept of creating a digital replica of a physical object, process or system. This digital model collects and analyses real-time data from real-world entities. Using sensors, IoT devices, artificial intelligence and data analytics, the behaviour and performance of physical assets can be simulated and monitored in a digital environment. We aim to provide a real technology experience by creating digital twins of the environments we work in and combining them with Reinforcement Learning.

Real Time Monitoring: Environmental data such as energy consumption, air quality, temperature, humidity, lighting of smart buildings can be monitored in real time. In this way, more effective management is provided.

Prediction and Preventive Maintenance: The digital twin can predict failures or maintenance needs in building systems. This prevents costly repairs and energy losses.

Energy Efficiency: Energy consumption can be analysed to ensure optimum use. For example, HVAC (heating, ventilation, cooling) systems can be optimised by estimating building energy needs.

Simulation and Optimisation: Simulations can be performed to test how the building will operate in different scenarios and improve performance. This allows for better design and operation decisions.

Remote Management: Smart buildings can be easily controlled and managed over the internet thanks to the digital twin. This reduces operational costs, especially for large complexes.

Sustainability: It is beneficial in terms of efficient use of resources, reducing carbon footprint and complying with green building standards.
