Direct flights to Ankara’s Esenboga International Airport are available from many cities in Europe. In addition, most major airlines including Turkish Airlines have international flights landing at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport. Domestic airlines provide connections to Ankara.

The Ankara Esenboga Airport terminal complex is 33 km (21 miles, about 40 minutes in normal traffic) Northeast of the city center, reached by inexpensive (5 EUR) airport shuttle bus (Havas) to/from the ASTI bus terminal or Ankara Gar train station. A metered taxi would cost about 40 EUR.

From the last shuttle bus stop in downtown Ankara (The first main stop is near the Gar train station, and the last one is at the intercity bus station, ASTI), one can take a metered taxi to the METU campus.
