De\u011fi\u015fik metodlarla toprak nemi g\u00f6zlemlerini elde etmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Bunlar\u0131n aras\u0131nda istasyonlarda elde edilen g\u00f6zlemler belirli miktarda g\u00f6zlem hatalar\u0131 icermesine ra\u011fmen en do\u011fru veriler olarak kabul edilmektedir. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde Meteoroloji Genel M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc taraf\u0131ndan halen 200&#8217;u a\u015fk\u0131n istasyonda 2007 y\u0131l\u0131ndan bu yana toprak nemi de\u011ferleri \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclmektedir. Bu verilerin uzun y\u0131llard\u0131r topland\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcnde bulundurulursa, bu toprak nemi g\u00f6zlemleri geni\u015f alanlar\u0131 temsil etmesi bak\u0131m\u0131nda \u00fclkemizdeki en uzun yer g\u00f6zlemi zaman serisini olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. Fakat bu verilerin toprak cinsine ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak kalibrasyonu yap\u0131lmad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan bu verileri kullan\u0131labilir hale getirecek do\u011fruluk oranlar\u0131 bilinmemektedir. Ayn\u0131 zamanda hidrolojik modeller ve uydu verileri ile \u00fclkemiz \u00fczerinde \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclen toprak nemi de\u011ferlerinin validasyon \u00e7ali\u015fmalar\u0131 da ancak do\u011fruluk oranlar\u0131 bilinen y\u00fcksek kalitedeki toprak nemi de\u011ferleri ile yap\u0131labilece\u011fi ortadad\u0131r. Bu noktada, istasyonlarda \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclen toprak nemi de\u011ferlerinin do\u011fruluk oranlar\u0131n\u0131n elde edilmesi \u00e7ok kritiktir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada, bu toprak nemi yer g\u00f6zlemlerinin s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011fa ve toprak cinsine ba\u011fl\u0131 kalibrasyonlar\u0131 yap\u0131lacak ve bu kalibre edilmi\u015f verilerin \u00fc\u00e7 de\u011fi\u015fik metodla do\u011fruluk oranlar\u0131 elde edilecektir. Elde edilecek sonu\u00e7lar do\u011fruluk oranlar\u0131 elde bulunan uzun s\u00fcreli toprak nemi de\u011ferlerinin bir \u00e7ok uygulamada kullan\u0131labilirli\u011fini ortaya koyacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Soil moisture is a critical parameter for many fields like climate, drought, water and energy balance, weather prediction; yet the number of studies involving soil moisture has been limited in our country. There are many methods that the soil moisture values can be retrieved. Among the retrieved values via different methods, station-based observations have the greatest potenatial to provide the most accurate soil moisture information even though station based observations have the representativeness errors. Currently soil moisture observations have been made by Directoriate of Meteorology over 200 stations since 2007. Considering there are long years of observations, these values provide the most important observed soil moisture database. On the other hand, these observations are not calibrated to the local conditions, hence the accuracies of these observations are not known. Additionally, the validation of hydrological model- or satellite-based soil moisture values can only be made by using highly accurate station-based soil moisture values that have known accuracy estimates. Accordingly, the accuracy estimates of the observations obtained from these stations is highly critical. In this study the calibration of these station-based soil moisture observations will be performed and the accuracy estimates of these calibrated data will be obtained using 3 different methods.
