Upon earning her Ph.D., she came back to Turkey. Since then she has been teaching at the Middle East Technical University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in early childhood education. Her research focuses on classroom management, early childhood curriculum, and gender equity in education. She has published articles and book chapters on gender equity, play, classroom management and teacher beliefs and\u00a0practices.
