Şirin YAZAR graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 2013. She received her B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2018. She is currently a Research Assistant and M.Sc. student in the field of electromagnetics at METU.

She is a member of CEMMETU,which is a research group working on developing fast and accurate implementations for real-life electromagnetic simulations,since 2016.

She also serves as Joint AP/MTT/EMC/ED Society Representative in IEEE Turkey Young Professionals Affinity Group for 2020, 2021 calendar years.
