Bu iletiye ve di\u011fer bilgilere yan menudeki ba\u011flant\u0131lardan ula\u015fabilirsiniz. \u0130lk iletimde de belirtti\u011fim gibi i)lisans e\u011fitimi, ii)lisans\u00fcst\u00fc e\u011fitim, iii)ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve iv)topluma hizmet s\u0131ras\u0131 ile, bu ve takip eden haftalarda ele almak istedi\u011fim konular. Konulara ge\u00e7meden evvel, de\u011finece\u011fim\u00a0hususlar\u0131n\u00a0b\u00fcy\u00fck bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n\u00a0\u00dcniversitemiz Stratejik Plan\u2019\u0131nda yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtmek isterim. Bu a\u00e7\u0131dan temas edece\u011fim hususlar\u0131n\u00a0bir \u00f6nceliklendirme olarak de\u011ferlendirilmesi do\u011fru olacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Bu iletinin konusu yukar\u0131da verilen s\u0131ra i\u00e7erisinde lisans e\u011fitimi olup, konu iki k\u0131s\u0131mda ele al\u0131nacakt\u0131r. \u00d6nce konunun \u00fcniversite \u00f6ncesi e\u011fitime y\u00f6nelik y\u00f6nleri, takiben de (\u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fczdeki hafta) \u00dcniversitemiz uygulamalar\u0131 konu al\u0131nacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/basarisiz-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-218 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/basarisiz-1.png\" alt=\"basarisiz\" width=\"399\" height=\"127\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/basarisiz-1.png 471w, https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/basarisiz-1-300x96.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Lisans e\u011fitiminde en \u00f6nemli sorunlar\u0131m\u0131zdan biri \u00f6\u011frencilerimizde ilk iki y\u0131lda g\u00f6r\u00fclen motivasyon kayb\u0131d\u0131r. Hepimizin bildi\u011fi bu husus rakamlarla\u00a0ifade edildi\u011finde \u00e7ok daha \u00e7arp\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r. \u0130lk y\u0131l ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131z \u00f6\u011frencilerimizin oran\u0131 2009 y\u0131l\u0131nda % 50 iken, oran\u00a0aradan ge\u00e7en\u00a05 sene i\u00e7ersinde daha da gerilemi\u015f 2014 y\u0131l\u0131nda % 77\u2019 olmu\u015ftur.\u00a0\u0130lk y\u0131llarda g\u00f6zlenen motivasyon kayb\u0131 ve performans d\u00fc\u015f\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn k\u00f6kenlerini \u00dcniversitemiz i\u00e7inden daha \u00e7ok \u00fcniversite \u00f6ncesi e\u011fitimde aramak daha ger\u00e7ek\u00e7idir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Bildi\u011fimiz \u00fczere, \u00fcniversitemize \u00f6\u011frenci kabul\u00fc \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli bir s\u0131navla yap\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. \u0130lk uygulamas\u0131 1962 y\u0131l\u0131nda yap\u0131lan[1] \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli giri\u015f s\u0131nav\u0131, 70\u2019lerde yayg\u0131nl\u0131k kazanm\u0131\u015f ve ODT\u00dc bu s\u0131nava di\u011fer \u00dcniversitelerden daha ge\u00e7 bir \u015fekilde 1975 y\u0131l\u0131nda kat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. S\u0131nav, uzun y\u0131llar lise son \u00f6\u011frencilerine uygulanm\u0131\u015f ve bir se\u00e7me yerle\u015ftirme sistemi olarak ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. 2000\u2019lerde yap\u0131lan de\u011fi\u015fiklik ile s\u0131nav gene lise son s\u0131n\u0131fta muhafaza edilmi\u015f, ancak \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli yeni bir s\u0131nav ortaokul d\u00fczeyinde uygulamaya konmu\u015ftur. 2011 y\u0131l\u0131nda tekrar kapsaml\u0131 bir de\u011fi\u015fiklik yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve 4+4+4 sistemine ge\u00e7ilmi\u015ftir. Bu sistemde s\u0131nav uygulamas\u0131 bir \u00f6nceki evreye g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcrde \u00e7ok benzerdir.\u00a0Ancak\u00a0okula ba\u015flama ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131n erkene al\u0131nmas\u0131 ile \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nav \u00f6\u011frencilerimize daha erken ya\u015fta 12-13 ya\u015flar\u0131nda uygulanmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u0131saca ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta 17-18 ya\u015f d\u00fczeyinde uygulanan \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nav, 2000\u2019 lerde 15-16 \u2018ya 2011 de de ( co\u011fumuzun a\u015f\u0131na oldu\u011fu tarzda ifade edecek olur isek\u00a0ilkokul sona) 12-13 ya\u015flar\u0131na \u00e7ekilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/universiteyegiris.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-216\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/universiteyegiris-1024x505.png\" alt=\"universiteyegiris\" width=\"1024\" height=\"505\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/universiteyegiris-1024x505.png 1024w, https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/universiteyegiris-300x148.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/universiteyegiris-768x379.png 768w, https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/universiteyegiris.png 1420w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sonu\u00e7 olarak, mevcut durumda \u00fcniversite \u00f6ncesi e\u011fitimimiz 12-13 ya\u015flar\u0131ndan ba\u015flayarak \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nav odakl\u0131 olarak 17-18 ya\u015fa kadar devam etmektedir. Bu olu\u015fumun d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda kalmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan \u201cInternational Bacaloria\u201d(IB) gibi programlar olmakla beraber bu uygulamalar az\u0131nl\u0131ktad\u0131r. \u00c7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nav odakl\u0131 bir al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131kla \u00dcniversitemize gelen \u00f6\u011frencilerimizin klasik s\u0131nav uygulamalar\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda bo\u015flu\u011fa d\u00fc\u015fmelerini yad\u0131rgamam\u0131z gerekir. Herhalde motivasyon kayb\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemli bir nedeni kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131 ve adapte olmakta zorland\u0131klar\u0131 bu sistem de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fidir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00c7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nav elbetteki bir \u00f6l\u00e7me de\u011ferlendirme y\u00f6ntemi olarak ge\u00e7erli bir yakla\u015f\u0131md\u0131r. Nitekim s\u0131nav, \u00fcniversiteye giri\u015fte 2000\u2019li y\u0131llara kadar ba\u015far\u0131 ile uygulanm\u0131\u015f ve \u00e7ok iyi sonu\u00e7lar al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ancak bug\u00fcn geldi\u011fimiz nokta itibari ile 12-13 ya\u015f\u0131ndan beri uygulana gelen \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nav odakl\u0131 e\u011fitim, gen\u00e7lerimiz \u00fczerinde telafisi zaman alacak ciddi hasarlar olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. G\u00f6r\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm baz\u0131 e\u011fitimci\u00a0hocalar\u0131m\u0131z k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ya\u015ftan beri uygulanan b\u00f6yle bir sistemin, akl\u0131m\u0131za gelenlerin de \u00f6tesinde \u00e7ok daha ciddi sorunlara yol a\u00e7aca\u011f\u0131 tespitinde bulunmaktad\u0131rlar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sonu\u00e7 itibari ile halen \u00fcniversite \u00f6ncesi e\u011fitimin \u00f6n plana \u00e7\u0131kartt\u0131\u011f\u0131 tekil d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnme, 1 veya 1.5 basamakl\u0131 soru(n)lara odakl\u0131, 1 -2 dakikada \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm bulmay\u0131 esas alan, 4-5 \u015f\u0131kka hapsolmu\u015f yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131 de\u011fi\u015ftirmek zorunday\u0131z.\u00a0Bunun yerine <strong>b\u00fct\u00fcnc\u00fcl<\/strong> bakmay\u0131 esas\u00a0alan,\u00a0<strong>\u00e7ok basamakl\u0131<\/strong>, soru(n)lar \u00fczerinde<strong> geni\u015f kapsam\u0131 ile durabilen<\/strong>, <strong>sorgulay\u0131c\u0131<\/strong>, <strong>yarat\u0131c\u0131\u00a0<\/strong>yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131 \u00f6nplana \u00e7\u0131katmal\u0131y\u0131z ve te\u015fvik etmeliyiz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Elbette ki bu konuda i\u015flev odakl\u0131 bir yakla\u015f\u0131mla sorunun bizimle ilgilisi olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 iddia edebiliriz. Tercihimiz,\u00a0gen\u00e7lerimizin \u00fcniversite \u00f6ncesi e\u011fitimde maruz kald\u0131klar\u0131 hasarlar\u0131n\u0131 h\u0131zla telafi edip yolumuza devam etme \u015feklinde olabilir. Ancak konuya ama\u00e7 odakl\u0131 ve b\u00fct\u00fcnc\u00fcl bakmak durumunday\u0131z. \u00d6\u011frenci kabul\u00fc -nitelikli \u00f6\u011frenci kabul\u00fc- \u00fcniversitenin ana sorumluluklar\u0131ndan biridir. Bu i\u015flevimizi ba\u015fka bir kuruma (\u00d6SYM) devretmi\u015f olmam\u0131z bizim bu konuda sorumlulu\u011fumuzun bitti\u011fi anlam\u0131na gelmez. Devretmi\u015f oldu\u011fumuz bu yetkiyi \u2013 geldi\u011fimiz bu nokta itibari ile &#8211; tekrar geri almay\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmemiz, bu iste\u011fi geli\u015fmelere ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak, yava\u015f da olsa telaffuz etmeye ba\u015flamam\u0131z gerekir diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/90-10girs-sistemi.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-214 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/90-10girs-sistemi-1024x676.png\" alt=\"90-10girs sistemi\" width=\"502\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/90-10girs-sistemi-1024x676.png 1024w, https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/90-10girs-sistemi-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/90-10girs-sistemi-768x507.png 768w, https:\/\/blog.metu.edu.tr\/ozturk\/files\/2016\/06\/90-10girs-sistemi.png 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 502px) 100vw, 502px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Bu konuda ortaya konabilecek ger\u00e7ek\u00e7i yakla\u015f\u0131m yeni bir sisteme k\u0131smi ge\u00e7i\u015f ve harmanlamad\u0131r. Bunun i\u00e7in \u00f6\u011frencilerimizin belirli bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n mevcut sistemle kabul\u00fcne devam edilmesi ancak k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir kesrinin yeni bir sistemle- klasik s\u0131navla- se\u00e7ilmesi at\u0131labilecek bir\u00a0\u00a0ilk ad\u0131md\u0131r. Klasik s\u0131nav\u0131 esas alacak bu yeni uygulaman\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta m\u00fchendislik ve fen alanlar\u0131n\u0131 kapsamas\u0131, elde edilecek tecr\u00fcbeye g\u00f6re, takiben di\u011fer alanlara da yay\u0131lmas\u0131 ger\u00e7ek\u00e7i bir yakla\u015f\u0131m olacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Klasik s\u0131nav\u0131n \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nava g\u00f6re elbette ki zorluklar\u0131 vard\u0131r ancak kolayl\u0131klar\u0131 da vard\u0131r. Bug\u00fcn teknolojinin geldi\u011fi nokta itibari ile uygulanmas\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcnde hi\u00e7bir engel olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, gerekli organizasyonu yapmak kayd\u0131 ile objektif ve g\u00fcvenilir tarzda uygulanmas\u0131n\u0131n m\u00fcmk\u00fcn oldu\u011funu belirtmek isterim. Burada hem cesaret verici (ama ayn\u0131 zamanda \u00fcz\u00fcc\u00fc) durum b\u00f6yle bir s\u0131nav ortaya kondu\u011funda buna ba\u015fvuracak \u00f6\u011frenci say\u0131s\u0131 olacakt\u0131r. Kanaatim b\u00f6yle bir s\u0131nava ba\u015fvuracak \u00f6\u011frenci say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta az olaca\u011f\u0131 bunun ancak zamanla artaca\u011f\u0131 \u015feklindedir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Yukar\u0131da olu\u015fturulmas\u0131 \u00f6nerilen yeni s\u0131nav bir ODT\u00dc giri\u015f s\u0131nav\u0131 \u015feklinde olabilece\u011fi gibi di\u011fer ayn\u0131 kayg\u0131y\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131yan \u00fcniversitelerle birlikte \u2013 gerekti\u011finde \u00d6SYM \u00e7at\u0131s\u0131 alt\u0131nda-verilecek bir s\u0131nav \u015feklinde de olabilir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mevcut \u00fcniversiteye giri\u015f sistemi ve beraberinde gelen sorunlar hepimizin derinden hissetti\u011fi konular, \u201cne yapabiliriz ki?\u201d \u00e7aresizli\u011fi de \u015f\u00fcphesiz hepimizi yaral\u0131yor. Bu sorun ya oldu\u011fu gibi kalacak ve (bizde \u00e7oktan se\u00e7meli s\u0131nav uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131 benimsiyerek) bu \u00fclkenin bireyleri olarak farkl\u0131 bir evreye evrilece\u011fiz, ya da bu sorunu \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcp gelece\u011fimizi daha bir g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcr ve kontrol edilebilir k\u0131laca\u011f\u0131z.
