ODT\u00dc\u2019de e\u011fitimin \u0130ngilizce olmas\u0131 nedeni ile 1979, 1985 ve 1999, 2009 ve 2018 y\u0131llar\u0131nda kitap \u0130ngilizce olarak bas\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r ve halen ders kitab\u0131 olarak kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Kitapta her bas\u0131m s\u0131ras\u0131nda geli\u015fen teknolojilere g\u00f6re \u00f6nemli de\u011fi\u015fiklikler yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Gerekli g\u00f6r\u00fclen bir\u00e7ok de\u011fi\u015fiklikler ve ekler yap\u0131larak bu kitap T\u00fcrk\u00e7e olarak 2000 y\u0131l\u0131nda yeniden yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, 2007, 2010 ve 2018 y\u0131llar\u0131nda gerekli de\u011fi\u015fikliklerle bas\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u0130ngilizce yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olan kitab\u0131n terc\u00fcmesi de\u011fildir. Ama\u00e7 T\u00fcrk\u00e7e e\u011fitim g\u00f6ren veya sanayiide \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan meslekta\u015flar\u0131m\u0131za kendi a\u00e7\u0131mdan mekanizma tekni\u011fi konusunda bilgi vermek ve bu alanda T\u00fcrk\u00e7e literat\u00fcre ufak bir katk\u0131da bulunmakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Son y\u0131llarda tek kal\u0131c\u0131 \u015feyin de\u011fi\u015fim oldu\u011fu a\u00e7\u0131kca g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Bilgiye eri\u015fimde ve hesaplama y\u00f6ntemlerinde dijital teknoloji ile gelen \u00f6nemli de\u011fi\u015fiklikler hem e\u011fitimde ve hem de m\u00fchendislik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fck de\u011fi\u015fimler getirmi\u015ftir. Ana bilgisayarlar\u0131n yerine ki\u015fisel bilgisayarlar\u0131n kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 ve bu bilgisayarlarda \u00e7e\u015fitli paket programlar\u0131n geli\u015ftirilmesi ile, m\u00fchendisler eskiden oldu\u011fu gibi FORTRAN lisan\u0131 kullan\u0131p uzun programlar yazmaya ve sonu\u00e7 olarak elde etti\u011fi bir y\u0131\u011f\u0131n rakam\u0131n ne anlama geldi\u011fini irdeleyerek zaman kaybetmektense, her t\u00fcrl\u00fc grafik \u00f6zellikleri olan paket programlar\u0131 kullanarak sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 an\u0131nda irdeleyebilir bir ortamda \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r olmu\u015flard\u0131r. B\u00fct\u00fcn bu geli\u015fmeler m\u00fchendislik mesle\u011fini daha ilgin\u00e7 hale getirmi\u015ftir. Bu teknoloji ile zor ve zaman al\u0131c\u0131 hesaplamalardan kurtuldu isek de temel kavramlar\u0131 bilmek, her hangi bir sistemin geometrisini tam ve do\u011fru bir \u015fekilde modellemek bu sanal bilgisayar ortam\u0131nda \u00e7ok daha \u00f6nemli olmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Makina m\u00fchendisli\u011fi n\u00fcmerik kontroll\u00fc tak\u0131m tezgahlar\u0131, robotlar, programlanabilir makinalarla \u00f6nemli de\u011fi\u015fikliklere u\u011frad\u0131 ise de Newton kanunlar\u0131 hala makinalarda hareket ve kuvvetleri izlememiz i\u00e7in gerekli ve yeterli temel kural olarak ortada durmakta, uzun s\u00fcre de\u011fi\u015fmeyece\u011fi g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Makinalarda hareketin geometrisini ele alan mekanizma bilimi (tekni\u011fi veya sanat\u0131 da diyebiliriz), grafik ve analitik y\u00f6ntemlerle ondokuzuncu as\u0131rda geli\u015ftirilmi\u015f, 1950\u2019lerde ise \u00e7a\u011fda\u015f mekanizma tekni\u011fi diyece\u011fimiz evrede analitik ve say\u0131sal y\u00f6ntemlerin geli\u015ftirilmesi ile bug\u00fcnk\u00fc halini alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u00a0\u00a0 Tasarlanacak \u00fcr\u00fcnler ve tasar\u0131m kriterleri de\u011fi\u015fti ise de mekanizma tekni\u011fi tasar\u0131mda \u00f6nemini aynen korumaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00fchendisin esas g\u00f6revi problem \u00e7\u00f6zmek, \u00fcretken olmakt\u0131r. Bu a\u00e7\u0131dan bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda mekanizma tekni\u011fi kan\u0131mca makina m\u00fchendisleri i\u00e7in sadece mekanizmalarla ilgili de\u011fildir. Bu g\u00fcne kadar mekanizma d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda elde etti\u011fim tecr\u00fcbelere dayanarak, herhangi bir sistemin geometrisini modelleyebilme ve bu modeli\u00a0\u00a0 hayalde canland\u0131rabilme, \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm i\u00e7in ise algoritmik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnerek bir y\u00f6ntem geli\u015ftirme, insan\u0131 sonuca g\u00f6t\u00fcren temel yakla\u015f\u0131m oldu\u011funa inanmaktay\u0131m. Bu nedenle bir \u00f6\u011frenci mekanizma tekni\u011finde hareketin geometrisini anlayabilir, hayalinde canland\u0131rabilir hale gelir ise ve bir dizi i\u015flemlerden olu\u015fan problem \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc yapabilir ise, mekanizma tekni\u011fi d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda problemler i\u00e7in de \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli beceriler kazanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Birinci b\u00f6l\u00fcmde ama\u00e7 okuyucuyu g\u00fcnl\u00fck uygulamalarda g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz mekanizmalarla tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131rmakt\u0131r. Her zaman g\u00f6r\u00fclen ancak dikkat etmedi\u011fimiz y\u00fczlerce mekanizman\u0131n temel topolojik \u00f6zellikleri anlat\u0131lmaya, uzuv, mafsal ve serbestlik derecesi kavramlar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klanmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Okuyucuya her t\u00fcrl\u00fc mekanizmay\u0131 tan\u0131tabilmek i\u00e7in kitab\u0131n sadece bu b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde uzaysal mekanizmalar da g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir. Ancak mekanizma \u00e7e\u015fitleri ve uygulamalar\u0131 bir b\u00f6l\u00fcme s\u0131\u011fam\u0131yacak kadar \u00e7e\u015fitli oldu\u011fu a\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131r. Bu nedenle ilgili okuyucular\u0131n bu konuda internete ba\u015fvurmalar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nemle tavsiye ederim. Bu kitap mekanizma tekni\u011fi i\u00e7in bir ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 kitab\u0131 olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnden, di\u011fer b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerde uzaysal mekanizmalar kapsam d\u0131\u015f\u0131 b\u0131rak\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u015eimdiye tek bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm olarak yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olan kinematik analiz konusu, kapsam\u0131n olduk\u00e7a geni\u015flemesinden dolay\u0131 iki b\u00f6l\u00fcme ayr\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kitab\u0131n ikinci b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde hareket analizi, \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde ise h\u0131z ve ivme analizi ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u00a0 Bu b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerde d\u00fczlemsel mekanizmalarda hareket, h\u0131z ve ivme analizi konu edilmi\u015ftir. Temel olarak mekanizmada devre kavram\u0131 kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00c7\u00f6z\u00fcm i\u00e7in ise geometrik ve analitik y\u00f6ntemler anlat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Geometrik y\u00f6ntemlerin klasik \u015fekilde pergel cetvel ile yap\u0131labildi\u011fi g\u00f6sterildi\u011fi gibi bilgisayar kullan\u0131larak AutoCAD\u00e2, Solidworks\u00e2, Catia\u00e2 ve benzeri \u00e7izim programlar\u0131 ile veya son y\u0131llarda t\u00fcm d\u00fcnyada e\u011fitimde kullan\u0131m\u0131 gittik\u00e7e artan \u00fccretsiz GeoGebra paket program\u0131 kullan\u0131larak uygulamas\u0131 anlat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u00a0 Vikipediye g\u00f6re \u201c<strong>GeoGebra<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(GeoCebir), matematik ve geometriyi \u00f6\u011frenme ve \u00f6\u011fretme amac\u0131yla kullan\u0131labilen, ilk\u00f6\u011fretimden \u00fcniversiteye kadar geni\u015f bir kesime hitap eden\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/tr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%96zg%C3%BCr_yaz%C4%B1l%C4%B1m\"><em>\u00f6zg\u00fcr<\/em><\/a><em>\u00a0bir dinamik matematik yaz\u0131l\u0131m\u0131d\u0131r\u201d. <\/em>Son y\u0131llarda bir\u00e7ok \u00fclkede\u00a0\u00a0 lise ve \u00fcniversitelerde bilhassa matematik, cebir ve geometri e\u011fitimi i\u00e7in kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Kitapta GeoGebra paket program\u0131 ile mekanizmalar\u0131n hareket analizi \u00f6rneklerle anlat\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Geogebra ile h\u0131z ve ivme analizi ise ilk defa kitaba destek olarak haz\u0131rlanm\u0131\u015f olan videolarda yer alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Analitik y\u00f6ntemlerin uygulamas\u0131 a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 olarak EXCEL\u00e2 paket program\u0131 kullan\u0131larak g\u00f6sterilse de MathCAD\u00e2 ve MATLAB\u00e2 gibi matematik paket programla\u0131n\u0131n kullan\u0131labilece\u011fi g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir. Ayr\u0131ca, gerekti\u011finde m\u00fchendisin FORTRAN, VisualBASIC\u00e2, C+, ve benzeri her hangi bir yaz\u0131l\u0131m dili ile mekanizmalar\u0131n analizini yapabilece\u011fi a\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131r. Burada en \u00f6nemli olay ki\u015finin \u201c<strong><em>analitik\u201d<\/em><\/strong> d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceyi geli\u015ftirmesi ve \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm i\u00e7in bir \u201c<strong><em>algoritma\u201d<\/em><\/strong> olu\u015fturabilmesidir. EXCEL paket program\u0131na a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k verilmesinin en \u00f6nemli nedeni:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a) Program g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde yayg\u0131n olarak \u00e7ok de\u011fi\u015fik i\u015flerde kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r (Excel sadece mekanizma e\u011fitimi i\u00e7in \u00f6\u011frenilmez. T\u00fcm m\u00fchendislik alanlar\u0131nda kullan\u0131labilir);<\/li>\n<li>b) Exelin de bulundu\u011fu ofis programlar\u0131n\u0131 her bilgisayarda yayg\u0131n olarak bulunmaktad\u0131r.<\/li>\n<li>c) Excel ile ilgili her b\u00fcrl\u00fc bilgiye kolayl\u0131kla eri\u015filebilir;<\/li>\n<li>d) \u00c7\u0131kan sonu\u00e7lar\u0131n ba\u015fka programlara aktar\u0131labilir (\u00f6rne\u011fin Teknik resim paket programlar\u0131),<\/li>\n<li>e) Basit M\u00fchendislik hesaplamalar\u0131nda algoritma geli\u015ftirmenin en kolay ortam\u0131d\u0131r:<\/li>\n<li>f) Di\u011fer paket programlara g\u00f6re \u00e7ok d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck maliyettedir. (isterseniz WPS Office, LibreOffice, Google Sheets gibi \u00fccretsiz paket programlar da benzer \u015fekilde kullan\u0131labilir).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>ADAMS\u00e2, WorkingModel\u00e2\u00a0 gibi \u00f6zellikle makinalar\u0131n kinematik ve dinamik analizi i\u00e7in haz\u0131rlanm\u0131\u015f paket programlar\u0131 kullanan \u00f6rnekler kitapta yer almam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Mekanizmalar\u0131n analizi ve sentezi konusunda geli\u015ftirilmi\u015f olan \u00e7ok \u00e7e\u015fitli paket program internette (\u00fccretli veya \u00fccretsiz) bulunmaktad\u0131r. Mekanizma tekni\u011fine ad\u0131m at\u0131l\u0131rken bu \u00f6zel programlar\u0131n kullan\u0131m\u0131 kan\u0131mca sak\u0131ncal\u0131d\u0131r. \u00a0Bildi\u011fim kadar\u0131 ile, mekanizma tekni\u011fi problemlerinin \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcnde EXCEL\u00e2 paket program\u0131n\u0131n kullan\u0131m\u0131 ilk defa bu kitapta yer alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u00a0 Kan\u0131mca g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde her m\u00fchendisin \u00e7ok iyi bilmesi gereken bir programd\u0131r.\u00a0 Her t\u00fcrl\u00fc m\u00fchendislik hesaplamalar\u0131n kolayca yap\u0131labildi\u011fi, tekrar tekrar yap\u0131lacak i\u015fler i\u00e7in \u00e7abay\u0131 en aza indiren bir ortam yaratmaktad\u0131r. Bu kitapta anlat\u0131lanlar\u0131n bu paket program\u0131n t\u00fcm \u00f6zelliklerini anlatmay\u0131 ama\u00e7lamad\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde e\u011fitimde dijitalle\u015fme s\u00f6z konusudur. Bilgi sadece bir \u00f6\u011fretim anlatt\u0131klar\u0131 ile veya bir kitapla s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 kalmas\u0131 s\u00f6z konusu de\u011fildir. \u0130nternet art\u0131k e\u011fitim hayat\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n \u00f6nemli bir par\u00e7as\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. Baz\u0131 konular\u0131 \u00f6rneklerle video \u015feklinde haz\u0131rlay\u0131p sunmak daha anla\u015f\u0131l\u0131r hale getirmekte yararl\u0131 olmaktad\u0131r. Dersde yap\u0131lmas\u0131 zor, veya zaman s\u0131n\u0131rlamas\u0131 nedeni ile tekrarlanmas\u0131 m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmayan bir olay bu \u015fekilde \u00f6\u011frenci taraf\u0131ndan istedi\u011fi kadar seyredilir hale gelebilmektedir. Kitapta olduk\u00e7a fazla say\u0131da \u00f6rnek yer almaktad\u0131r. \u00d6rneklerin ger\u00e7ek uygulamalardan olmas\u0131na \u00f6zen g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Bilhassa son y\u0131llarda okuyuculardan kitapta yer alan problemlerin \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc istenmektedir. Taraf\u0131mdan bu problemler \u00e7o\u011fu kez \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f olsa bile b\u00f6yle bir ar\u015fiv bende bulunmamaktad\u0131r (tahtada yap\u0131yorsam \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc anlat\u0131r, \u00e7\u00f6zer ve silerim. Ka\u011f\u0131tta yapt\u0131 isem \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc y\u0131rtar atar\u0131m). Bir m\u00fchendis hayatta ba\u015fkas\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f bir problemi \u00e7\u00f6zmesi i\u00e7in i\u015fe al\u0131nmaz. Ayr\u0131ca burada kinematik analiz i\u00e7in de\u011fi\u015fik y\u00f6ntemler anlat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (grafik analitik ve say\u0131sal y\u00f6ntemler).
