I am currently working  as a geotechnical engineer in the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI) for the past 4 years, exclusively specialized in the field of dam and hydropower engineering. I have worked on more than 30 dams from 30 to 150 m in height across the country. Involving to all stages of project development of all dam types turns out to be a great experience to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The motivation behind starting a Ph.D. degree at METU was to make an original contribution to the knowledge.
