Bu tan\u0131m\u0131n, ki\u015fili\u011fimizi eksiksizce ka\u011f\u0131da d\u00f6kebilmenin olanakl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan \u015f\u00fcphe duymakla birlikte \u00e7a\u011f insan\u0131nda s\u00f6z konusu e\u011filime dair bir a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131k ve bu a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n do\u011furdu\u011fu bir \u00e7e\u015fit sanc\u0131 g\u00f6zlemliyorum. Pop\u00fcler psikoloji ve ki\u015fisel geli\u015fim furyas\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan g\u00fcndelik dilimize ve al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131klar\u0131m\u0131za yerle\u015ftirilmi\u015f kendini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirme kavram\u0131, ki\u015fiyi \u2018\u2019kendi\u2019\u2019nin zamanda as\u0131l\u0131 bir tan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 yapman\u0131n meyvesiz tefekk\u00fcr\u00fcne hapsediyor. Bir di\u011fer deyi\u015fle, nihai amac\u0131 kim oldu\u011funa dair kesin bir kanaate var\u0131p buldu\u011fu cevaba uygun ad\u0131mlarla bir gelecek in\u015fa etmek olan birey, s\u00f6z konusu kanaate varman\u0131n imkans\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan ta\u015fla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yor. Bu noktada daha a\u00e7\u0131klay\u0131c\u0131 olmam gereken birka\u00e7 nokta s\u00f6z konusu. \u0130lk olarak, e\u011fer \u00e7a\u011f insan\u0131nda a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 oldu\u011fu var say\u0131lan bir benlik \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlemesi, ki\u015fili\u011fin kendine has anlat\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturmaya dair bir a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131k s\u00f6z konusu ise bu a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131k nas\u0131l temellendirilebilir. \u00d6te yandan, ki\u015fili\u011fi tan\u0131mlamaya dair a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 k\u0131lan\u0131n ne oldu\u011funu, bu e\u011filiminin ve bu e\u011filim vesilesiyle ba\u015fvurulan ara\u00e7lar\u0131n bireyin refah\u0131n\u0131 hangi a\u00e7\u0131dan tehdit etti\u011fini \u00f6rneklemem gerekti\u011fi kanaatindeyim.<\/p>\n<p>Amac\u0131m gelece\u011fi nas\u0131l tasarlamam\u0131z gerekti\u011fi konusunda bir \u00f6\u011freti ortaya koymak de\u011fil. Yaln\u0131zca bunu kendini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirme kavram\u0131na tutunarak ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmekte yatan \u00e7eli\u015fkiyi tart\u0131\u015fmak istiyorum. \u00d6ncelikle, s\u00f6z konusu \u00e7eli\u015fkiyi sergileyen ki\u015fi kendini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirme kavram\u0131n\u0131 bilmek ve gelece\u011fini hayal ederken s\u00fcrekli olarak bu kavram\u0131 kendisine hat\u0131rlatmak zorunda de\u011fil. Ki\u015finin kim oldu\u011funa karar vermek ad\u0131na sergiledi\u011fi eforun yo\u011funlu\u011fu \u00fczerinden bizlere bu konuda \u00f6rnek sa\u011flay\u0131p sa\u011flayamayaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 okumak m\u00fcmk\u00fcn. \u00d6rne\u011fin, astroloji yahut ki\u015filik testleri ile d\u00fczenli olarak ha\u015f\u0131r ne\u015fir olan, ileti\u015fimde oldu\u011fu bireylerden d\u00fczenli olarak kendisi ile ilgili yorum isteyen herhangi bir bireyin bir \u00e7e\u015fit kendini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirme \u00e7abas\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylenebilir. En basit tan\u0131m\u0131yla bu \u00e7aba, ki\u015finin ge\u00e7mi\u015f eylemleri aras\u0131ndaki tutarl\u0131 \u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri yakalayarak kim oldu\u011funa dair net bir tan\u0131m olu\u015fturmas\u0131 ve gelece\u011fe y\u00f6nelik ad\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131 bu tutarl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrecek \u015fekilde atmas\u0131n\u0131 hedefliyor.<\/p>\n<p>Bu noktada kafama tak\u0131lan, s\u00f6z konusu \u00e7abay\u0131 sergilerken gelece\u011fe d\u00f6nerek ya\u015faman\u0131n imkans\u0131zla\u015fmas\u0131. Ki\u015fili\u011fi s\u00f6zc\u00fckler ve sembollerle, ge\u00e7mi\u015f eylemlerden s\u00fcz\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131mlarla tan\u0131mlamak bireyi ge\u00e7mi\u015finin tortusu olarak de\u011ferlendirmek demek. Kendini ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirme i\u015finde \u2018\u2019kendi\u2019\u2019ye yap\u0131lan vurgudaki gizil, potansiyel niteli\u011fin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131na ikna olmu\u015f bir bireyin ya\u015fama at\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 sergilemesinin \u00f6n\u00fcndeki en b\u00fcy\u00fck engel \u2018\u2019kendi\u2019\u2019yi aramas\u0131. Hem insan eylemlerinin tutars\u0131z do\u011fas\u0131 hem de ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131n zaman\u0131n s\u00fcrekli ilerleyi\u015fi taraf\u0131ndan durmaks\u0131z\u0131n de\u011fi\u015ftirilen bir anlat\u0131 olmas\u0131 nedeniyle benlik ve ki\u015filik zamanda as\u0131l\u0131 tan\u0131mlar\u0131 yap\u0131lamayan olgular. Ki\u015filik teorileri, astroloji gibi yard\u0131mc\u0131lar aral\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile ki\u015fili\u011finin anlat\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 kavramlar\u0131n i\u00e7ine g\u00f6men birey, hayat\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6d\u00fcn\u00e7 ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 kavramlardan olu\u015fturdu\u011fu tarife bakarak ya\u015famaya ba\u015fl\u0131yor.
