I was born on July 16, 1998 in Ankara. I went to primary and high school in Ayvalık, Balıkesir. After living in Ayvalık for 7 years, I came back to Ankara and completed high school here. I started to study at the Department of Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University in 2016 and graduated as a high honor student with a CGPA of 3.74/4.00 in 2021 and started my master’s degree in Geotechnics the same year. During my master’s education, I have been studying with Assoc. Prof. Nejan Huvaj Sarıhan on alternative seabed anchors for floating offshore wind turbines. In addition, I have been a member of the Geomechanics and Technology (GeoMT) Research Group at METU Civil Engineering Department Geotechnical Division since September 2021.

In addition to my educational life, I take great pleasure in playing table tennis and chess. I got 4th place in Ayvalık, Balıkesir in 2013 professionally in chess.
