My Dear Instructors,
I uploaded 9 new posts yesterday with this one, to show you my idea developments. In another words, how my project reach this point.
My questions to you is that,
- I try to explain why I choose individual production than communial one in my previous posts. Yet I give user to that freedom, he can use communual areas easily too. I am thinking that I can merge communual areas with my sharing idea in initial idea jury. Sharing idea is that, sharing the food you produce much or less with others, we can use communual areas for that.
- Paravan system of the product can used as a seperator, american kitchen wall, or decorative objects. And in the future range of 5 to 10 years, my researches shows that people tend to growth their own houses. And future houses can evolve according to that, I try to examine object things that can be replaced with this product, but this is the idea that I enjoy most. I wonder, logic behinds that is sensible enough.

I wonder, logic behinds that is sensible enough.” Personally, I can’t know that but modularity that everybody can decide the number and orientation that you are offering with your current concepts gives lot of flexibility for different users and seem to be a good solution to suit various needs.
How about an individual unit (you have two units by the way – two complementary forms). Have you decided their form based on visual considerations only, or is there any other reasons? For example, since they are complementary forms is there any other benefit that the plans will have – one form has a wider ceiling ▽narrower base, the other is visa versa △. It looks like they occupy quite a big space on the longer edge. Again, how did you decide on the dimensions? The other locations (or potential forms) that you suggest are less resolved at the moment, difficult to imagine without seeing your concept drawings how they fit into those spaces the doodles are too vague to visualize on their own.
I am working on their forms right now to present in monday critique, I know that current forms are really raw right now.
At first I try to choose hexagonal element for its structural features. Then I realise its not optimal. First I thought I can use ▽ those units for wider plants like lettuces(yet their roots occupy same area as smaller plants). I decided to dimensions according to structurel elements, lile it shouldnt be fall down. And requirements for both internal systems and plants. Growth and planting dimensions and needed spaces give me the measurements. Also the standart dimensions of avarage small, medium, large rooms and kitchens give me direction to go. I also consider, standart dimensions of cupboards and countertops.
Esmanur hello, it’s good to see your progress in your notes. I think you do many research but there would be some sketch for form. If you will develop your “plant wall” as a paravan maybe you could use a structure+ some pots. Does each pot have water or electricity connections?
Merhaba Esmanur, araştırmaların forma dönüşürken tek alternatif yerine daha esnek düşünmeni öneririm. Aralayıcı bir duvar oluşturma fikrin üzerinden gidersek; bu duvarın bir taşıyıcı sistemi olması daha iyi olur. Böylece sisteme eklenen her “saksı” birbirinden bağımsız yerleştirilebilir. Çünkü senin düşüncende saksı olan birimler birbirini taşıyor ve herhangi birini aradan çıkarmak, içindeki bitkinin bozulması vb durumda yerine başka bir şey koymak mümkün olmuyor. ayrıca tüm sistem özellikleri, (sulama aydınlatma gibi) belki de su elektrik enerjisi içerecek bağlantı boruları bitkiyi taşıyan saksıda çözülmek zorunda kalıyor. Ayrı bir iskelet yapısı modülerlik ve farklı boyutta, şekilde birimlerle düzenleme yapmaya da izin verebilir.

Thanks a lot for your precious comments to both dear Madams. I have the same concerns about project. I decided to use idea with main skeleton as an another concept. Cause I want to discover about modularity more.
And about the electricity and water supply connections, main system can be has more advantages. I will consider while I am planning connections.
