Within the scope of the MCMH Workshop, participants were first expected to explore the area all together and then to approach the problems and opportunities from different aspects. To do so, 5 different groups are created which were consisting of 5 to 7 members including the international and local participants. During the field trip, among many complementary subjects, Group 1 interested itself in the Community Engagement which is a value constructed many years ago in Umitkoy Sitesi and is nowadays at the risk of diminishment. The reason behind this decision of Group 1 is related to the intangible values of the area which require a great deal of effort and long time to be formed.
