5ICEES: 5th International Conference on Earthquake Engineering and Seismology, Ankara- October 2019

5th of the ICEES series organized by the Earthquake Engineering Association of Turkey (EEAT) every two years was held in Ankara during October 8-11, 2019. EEAT is the affiliated national organization of International Association for Earthquake Engineering.

The Conference was followed by one-day International Workshop on Recent Advances in Earthquakes Engineering and Engineering Seismology for honoring and celebrating Prof Haluk Sucuoglu’s retirement after a very successful career at METU. We thank all of the invited speakers from all over the world and our attendees. We hope to see everyone again at 6ICEES which will be held in Gebze in 2021!
