Hello all! I am Ezgi. This is my first blog and since I really love rock music, I just wanted to introduce the famous rock bands with their members, songs and stories.  First, let’s know rock music.

Rock music is a broad genre of popular music that originated as “rock and roll” in the United States in the early 1950s, and developed into a range of different styles in the 1960s and later, particularly in the United Kingdom and in the United States. Musically, rock has centered on the electric guitar, usually as part of a rock group with electric bass, drums, and one or more singers. Usually, rock is song-based music usually with a 4/4 time signature using a verse-chorus form, but the genre has become extremely diverse. Like pop music, lyrics often stress romantic love but also address a wide variety of other themes that are frequently social or political.

Rock music is divided into many branches. However, it is divided into three main types. Normal Rock is the lightest of the types. This species is also divided into branches such as alternative rock, rock and roll, psychedelic rock, folk rock, and punk rock. 

In Hard rock music, music and lyrics get harder and harder. This reveals the hard rock. Music starts to move from a national structure that tells only the suffering and blackness of blacks, to a universal structure that deals with the problems of the whole world and politics. Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin are among the leading groups. Heavy Metal is the kind of music that started by those who think that they have lost the opposing side of rock music. Heavy metal; dark, hard and general death or bad things. Heavy metalists have adopted black. Heavy metal is divided into hundreds of species. Some are; death metal, folk metal, black metal, power metal, and alternative metal.
